Over the course of these short few months, this blog has delved deep into what modern television is and can be. In this special blog post, we'll be taking a look back at TV shows and special topics discussed for this blog.

Pam & Tommy

In the Pam & Tommy blog post, we discussed the amazing transformation of Lily James as she essentially became Pamela Anderson in her famous relationship with Tommy Lee. I do believe this show should receive some Emmy buzz once they roll around.

The Sex Life of College Girls

This is probably one of my favorite posts. In this post, I discussed some key terms like what a Mary Sue is, what the difference between a series and a season is, and even character development. I then began to explain a television series I discovered on HBO Max called The Sex Life of College Girls. This also led to my admitting that I am obsessed with Mindy Kaling, the creator, writer, and executive producer of the show, and her writing style. Because being able to write flawed characters is incredibly difficult and important and she does it effortlessly.

Arthur

In this post, I shared one of my favorite kid shows growing up that was coming to an end: Arthur. In the post, I discussed how this show tackled serious issues like PTSD and tolerance and understanding towards others.

Where Did She Go Wrong?

In this post, I went over trends going on in television. True stories about women who committed crimes from murder to fraud. I really enjoyed this post because all of these shows taught me more about what they did and how it affected others.

The Other Two

In this post, I had launched my social media account for the blog and I shared a clip from one of my favorite comedies called The Other Two.

New Girl

In this post, I interviewed a friend and explored their perspective on the amazing comedy.

Slow Horses

This is my new favorite television show, especially because I thought that the ending to Killing Eve was a disappointment. Every time I watch this show I find myself saying out loud "it's so good!" I used this post as a catalyst to bring in other resources like NPR and Rotten Tomatoes articles. However, as of today, I listed to one of my favorite podcasts from NPR called "Pop Culture Happy Hour" where the host and their guest discussed the show and all they had was complete and utter praise for the series and there was confirmation that the season 2 was already filmed and likely to release later this year.

Last Two Posts

In my two most recent posts, I produced and edited a video about a throwback TV series called Ghost Whisperer where I talked about the pros and cons of the show. In my last post, I promoted an app, Google TV. Where you can stay up to date with the shows and movies you watch and also get recommendations and suggestions for what you might be interested in.

The Future

I do enjoy writing, especially about TV and other pop culture topics. In the future, I do hope to stay up to date with my posts because I have so much more to talk about.

In the meantime, I would like to thank you all for reading my blog and coming with me on this journey into the wonderful world of television. Thank you!
